Nth Hour Terms of Use

The short version. Nth Hour is a nutrition and coaching app that estimates and suggests. It is not medical care. Use it with common sense, keep your account to yourself, and be honest with the coach; it is built to be honest with you.
Who can use Nth Hour
You must be at least 17 years old. Features that involve alcohol are available only to users 21 and older. If you are under 18, involve a parent or guardian, and treat the coach's suggestions as general guidance, not a plan.
Not medical advice
Nth Hour provides estimates of calories, macronutrients, hydration, and body weight trends, along with coaching based on general nutrition and exercise science. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition and does not replace a physician, registered dietitian, or other licensed professional. Calorie and nutrient estimates, including photo and barcode recognition and the food health score, are approximations and can be wrong. Never eat below the app's safety floors, and stop and consult a clinician if you feel unwell.
Eating disorders and safety
Nth Hour is not appropriate for anyone currently in treatment for an eating disorder unless their care team agrees. If tracking ever feels compulsive or distressing, stop using the app and talk to someone you trust or a professional. The coach is designed to step back from numbers when it notices concerning patterns, but it is software, not a clinician.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign in details private and for activity on your account. You may delete your account at any time as described in the Privacy Policy.
Cloud AI features
The coach, meal recognition, and receipt reading are optional cloud features that you enable yourself. Their output is generated by an AI model and may contain mistakes. Check labels, portions, and allergens yourself, especially with food allergies or medical conditions.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, interfere with it, attempt to access it without authorization, or use it to harm yourself or others. Nth Hour may suspend accounts that abuse the service or its AI features.
Beta and TestFlight builds
Pre release builds may contain bugs and may change or reset data between versions. Feedback sent through TestFlight may be used to improve the app.
Warranty and liability
Nth Hour is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nth Hour and its maker are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for health outcomes arising from use of the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the current version lives at this address with its effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Nth Hour's maker resides, without regard to conflict of law rules.
